Typical Presentation: Optic neuritis, and transverse myelitis with tetraplegia or paraplegia, sensory impairments and bladder-bowel dysfunction. Indications for testing: Rule out NMO in patients with optic neuritis and transverse myelitis and distinguishing this disease from multiple sclerosis. |
